  • you are required to implement the Bond Energy Algorithm of vertical frag- mentation….

    The assignment
In this assignment you are required to implement the Bond Energy Algorithm of vertical frag- mentation. Your code should contains two separate procedures AA Generator and CA Genera- tor, where AA Generator takes the input of all attributes of a relation, a set of queries and their access frequencies at different sites, and produces the output of an affinity matrix AA, and CA Generator takes input of an affinity matrix AA and produces a clustered affinity matrix CA. For description of the BEA algorithm, definitions of AA and CA, please see lecture slides/textbook.
In this assignment, the Attribute Affinity is measured by the extended Otsuka-Ochiai coef- ficient (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yanosuke Otsuka) instead of the traditional method de- scribed in the textbook. The following equations show the details of the computation, where n is the number of attributes, and m is the number of sites, Aik is the number of times Attribute Ai is accessed by Query qk, considering of all sites. For the result of division, you must round it up to the nearest integer.

    Case study 1
Jean is a 55-year-old Indigenous woman living in a suburb in Sydney South West Local Health District. She has previously been diagnosed with a chronic condition and recently experienced an exacerbation of symptoms. Jean doesn’t like attending the hospital as she has states that everyone is in a rush that no one really listens to her, she is concerned about the lack of privacy when clinical staff discuss her condition and worries if an appropriate care plan has been made that will support her health on discharge. Jean is taking regular medication although she confides that it is sometimes difficult to remember her medication particularly when she is feeling well.
Jean describes her marriage of 36 years as fairly happy she enjoys her children and grandchildren. Jean smokes ten cigarettes a day she knows this is not good however finds it difficult to quit as her husband also smokes. Jean had noticed some weight gain over the years regardless she was embarrassed at her last clinic visit when the nurse had suggested a weight management plan. During the week dinner mainly consists of takeaway with a few fruits and vegetables. She doesn’t drink alcohol, however, has six cans of soft drink a day. On the weekend Jean has the family over as she cooks a traditional meal and they socialise.
    Case study 2
Harry is a 68-year-old man who lives alone in a suburb in the Central Coast Local Health District. His wife of 49 years died five years ago. He has five children, four of whom are married with children and live some distance away from him. Harry has one son who is single and has never married. He lives in the same locality as Harry and visits him at least weekly, during football season they watch the game together. Harry shops at his local Woolworths where he purchases frozen ready to cook meals as he finds that fresh produce spoils in his fridge. Harry takes pride in his rose garden and ensures his lawn is always well manicured.
Harry was diagnosed with a chronic condition some time ago. Although he has struggled at times to cope with this condition until recently he has managed to maintain a full and active life. Recently Harry has stopped going to the Bowling Club and attending the Men’s Shed of which he is a foundation member. When asked Harry feels that his health can no longer manage these trips. Harry’s children have developed a belief that Harry has become a hypochondriac over the last four year and attributed this to him being lonely since the passing of his wife.

The Project requires us to analyse social media data using the knowledge obtained from this
unit with assistance from a computer based statistical package. For this project, we will focus
    on Twitter.
    Method
    To complete this project:
    1. Read through this specification
    2. Complete the data analysis required by the specification
    3. Write up your analysis using your favourite word processing/typesetting program,
making sure that all of the working is shown and that is it presented well.
    4. Include the student declaration text on the front page of your report. Please make sure
that your name and student number is clearly displayed on the front page.
    5. Submit the report as a PDF by the due date. The project report is due in by 11:59 p.m. on
    the Friday of week 15/05/19.
The report must be submitted as a PDF file using the assignment submission facilities in the.
Report Format Once the required analysis is performed, write up the analysis as a report.
Remember that the assessor will only see the report and will be marking the analysis based
    on your report.
Therefore the report should contain a clear and concise description of the procedures carried
out, the analysis of results, and any conclusions reached from the analysis. The required
analysis in this specification covers material presented in lectures and labs.
Students should use the computer software R to carry out the required analysis and then
present the results from the analysis in the report.
1Marks This project is worth 30% of your final grade, and so the project will be marked out
of 30. The project consists of five parts where each part contributes equally to your final
mark. There are five parts to the project, each will be marked using the following criteria:
Marks Criteria Satisfied 0 The method does not lead to insightful analysis. 1 The method is
flawed, but the analysis would have provided insight had the method been correct.
2 The method provides the reader with some understanding of the data.
3 The correct method leads to partially correct results and analysis.
4 The correct method leads to correct results and analysis.
5 The correct method leads to correct results and analysis, with an insightful aim and
    conclusion

Task 1: Examine the JCF Classes (0%)
Read and familiarize yourself with the JCF classes. You may use these classes if you wish (or you are welcome to reuse your previous project code, or “roll your own” versions of these classes). Below is an overview of the most likely classes to be helpful in this assignment:
    1. ArrayList and LinkedList – Java’s list classes supported by a dynamic array or a linked structure respectively
    2. ArrayDeque – Java’s double ended queue supported by an array, LinkedList is Java’s double ended queue supported by a linked list
    3. PriorityQueue – Java’s priority queue (supported by a heap)
    4. HashMap and HashSet – Java’s map and set supported by a hash table
    5. TreeMap and TreeSet – Java’s map and set supported by a red-black tree
    6. Collection – All JCF classes implement this generic interface.
Where should you start? The Java Tutorials of course! (If you didn’t know, Oracle’s official Java documentation includes a set of tutorials.) The Trail: Collections tutorial will provide you with more than enough information on how to use these classes.

Task 2: Read the Provided Code Base (0%)
Read and familiarize yourself with the code. This will save you a lot of time later. An overview of the provided code is given below, but you need to read the code base yourself.

Dan is a registered nursing student, day 5 of his first-year placement at MyLocalHospital in
Smithplace; his preceptor for today’s morning shift is Registered Nurse Jane.
During an unusually slow morning medication round, Dan noted RN Jane putting in her
pocket paracetamol (Panadol) from the medicine room. RN Jane stated she really needs it as
she only got home at 0330 this morning from a big night out, had a “…shocking hangover
and could barely think”; she said she would be better after morning tea.
RN Jane did appear unwell and Dan had to keep reminding her of each patient and even
pointed out medication discrepancies of those within his scope. Dan was concerned but the
morning got busy with beds to be made before morning tea break.
After lunch RN Jane directed Dan to help her with a complex vacuum dressing on the
buttock of Fred in Bed 11, a blind elderly patient. The wound was odorous and looked
complicated. RN Jane, already ‘unwell’ as disclosed this morning, left the room briefly for
“more supplies”. Dan chatted to the patient and discretely took a couple of photo’s of the
wound as he was intrigued by it and wanted to show his friends (some of which were
    nursing students too).
The following screenshot of a Facebook post from Dan, was sent to the lecturer from a
    fellow student later that evening.
