Provide an evaluation of the relevance and reliability of the information sources you have used to produce the two uploaded assignments.

GUIDANCE
Your evaluation must include a variety and number of different information sources and must highlight how you have deemed the material to be of relevance in context to the assignment brief. You must also include how you have checked information sources for their reliability.

You therefore need to consider how you know the information you have used was reliable and relevant, what other sources you could use in the future and why. It may help to consider where you have found information to be invalid or unreliable and subsequently decided not to use this in your assignments.

You must also include some conclusions.
The evaluation must be between 300 and 400 words.

Write an evaluation of three different reading strategies.
GUIDANCE
Your evaluation must include three different reading strategies and not just those that you have used to complete your assignments to date. When evaluating the reading strategies that you have used, consider the positives and limitations of each, how effective the strategies have been for you and why. You should also highlight if you have made any changes to your reading strategy and why, and how you could improve things for future assignments. You must include reading strategies that you have not used to date, whether you would consider using them in the future and why. You must also include some conclusions. The evaluation must be between 500 and 600 words. If you need to revise different reading strategies refer to the study materials for unit 4 (Preparing a Written Assignment), section 3.1.

As part of the benchmark assignment, you will design a wellness mini-unit and end of unit event that covers health and nutrition, safety, and fitness for a kindergarten classroom. In preparation, you will develop mini-lessons in this topic and in Topic 5.
In this assignment, design a health and nutrition mini-lesson appropriate for the kindergarten students described in the “Class Profile.” Lesson topics may include, but are not limited to:
Oral health
Hygiene
Hand-washing
Lead poisoning
Allergies
Meal planning
School gardens
Recycling
Label reading
For this mini-lesson, complete the Planning section of the “COE Lesson Plan Template.” Make sure the lesson is developmentally appropriate and addresses the multiple influences on early development and learning.
In addition, research one community organization, agency, or resource related to health and nutrition appropriate for families and colleagues.
In 250-500 words, rationalize your instructional decisions appropriate to the students in the “Class Profile” and summarize the organization, agency, or resource chosen, explaining its appropriateness to the lesson topic and usefulness to families or colleagues.
Submit your mini-lesson and your rationalization as one deliverable.
Support your summary with a minimum of 2-3 scholarly resources.
APA style is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.
This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
