Human development is a term which we used to tell how human develop his mind through various concept. In our education system, there are some psychologists such as a Piaget, Kohlberg, Erikson and Vygostky used theories to tell us how a child grow and learn. John Piaget (1896-1980) was one of the psychologists who introduce the cognitive theory of learning (Berger, 2006 & Heaven, 2011). He used word ‘schema’ to tell us how child build their world. The word ‘schema means an individual organise and expound information (Santrock, 2010). Piaget also familiar with another term ‘cognitive equilibrium ‘that means a state of mental balance. He tells us children grow under four stages.
Lawrence Kohlberg was student of the university in Chicago in 1950s; he was affected by Piaget’s work. He introduced the theory of moral development. He also used Piaget’s method of clinical interviews (Mclnerny, 2005). Kohlberg also draw special attention towards social cognitive views through how student take their social decision. Piaget mentioned that all children grow under two stages. A stage of ‘heteronomous morality’ that means children sense is based on breaking rules. The second stage of ‘autonomous morality’ that means they want change. Kohlberg also influenced by these two stages. Kohlberg introduced three main levels of reasoning and development and further two sub stages of each level. He stated that each stage is in sequence.

Case study 1
Jean is a 55-year-old Indigenous woman living in a suburb in Sydney South West Local Health District. She has previously been diagnosed with a chronic condition and recently experienced an exacerbation of symptoms. Jean doesn’t like attending the hospital as she has states that everyone is in a rush that no one really listens to her, she is concerned about the lack of privacy when clinical staff discuss her condition and worries if an appropriate care plan has been made that will support her health on discharge. Jean is taking regular medication although she confides that it is sometimes difficult to remember her medication particularly when she is feeling well.
Jean describes her marriage of 36 years as fairly happy she enjoys her children and grandchildren. Jean smokes ten cigarettes a day she knows this is not good however finds it difficult to quit as her husband also smokes. Jean had noticed some weight gain over the years regardless she was embarrassed at her last clinic visit when the nurse had suggested a weight management plan. During the week dinner mainly consists of takeaway with a few fruits and vegetables. She doesn’t drink alcohol, however, has six cans of soft drink a day. On the weekend Jean has the family over as she cooks a traditional meal and they socialise.
Case study 2
Harry is a 68-year-old man who lives alone in a suburb in the Central Coast Local Health District. His wife of 49 years died five years ago. He has five children, four of whom are married with children and live some distance away from him. Harry has one son who is single and has never married. He lives in the same locality as Harry and visits him at least weekly, during football season they watch the game together. Harry shops at his local Woolworths where he purchases frozen ready to cook meals as he finds that fresh produce spoils in his fridge. Harry takes pride in his rose garden and ensures his lawn is always well manicured.
Harry was diagnosed with a chronic condition some time ago. Although he has struggled at times to cope with this condition until recently he has managed to maintain a full and active life. Recently Harry has stopped going to the Bowling Club and attending the Men’s Shed of which he is a foundation member. When asked Harry feels that his health can no longer manage these trips. Harry’s children have developed a belief that Harry has become a hypochondriac over the last four year and attributed this to him being lonely since the passing of his wife.

QUESTION-
3) Is Seeing Believing?
In “Perspective as Symbolic Form,” Irwin Panofsky describes how the mechanics of one-point perspective create a window on the world of the painting.Usingeach of the five termshe deploys to explain perspective (vanishing point, horizon line, orthogonals, transversals, screen), describe Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper (1495-6) in terms that explain the visual mechanics of the image, as well as what Panofsky means by a “symbolic form” or way of looking at the world. What does he mean when he describes perspective as a form of abstraction, as not being really ‘real’? Contextualize your observations by explaining what it is a picture of in terms of the work’s context.
The RESEARCH PAPER expands on the one page Paper Proposal you have already submitted.
You may not change topics at this time.
Format: 5 pages, double spaced, 12 point type, citations in end note form (these do not count toward length and must be in MLA or UChicago form). Images should also be attached at the end (these also o not count toward length).
Using sources that your TA has approved at the Proposal stage, build on and develop the perspective on the object at hand using your research. Try to stay close to the thesis statement (double check every paragraph to be sure it is consistent with the thesis statement objective). Try reading just the topic sentences of the paragraphs (the first sentence should set up the subject matter of each paragraph). Be sure these give you a schematic overview of the paper.
.
RESEARCH PAPER GRADING RUBRIC
300 Points Total
1. The introductory paragraph has an opening line that invites the reader to continue reading. May take any form, but is not likely to work if it just names the work and its dates! 20 points
2. Introductory paragraph introduces the fundamentals of the project.20 points
3. The thesis statement is clear. It states an opinion about the object/s.20 points.
4. A sequence of three to five paragraphs that tie back to the thesis statement in a way builds up to an argument. These should contain historic information that addresses the context and audience for the object. This is where you use the research citations named above. 50 points
5. Every paragraph has a topic sentence that indicates what the subject matter is of the paragraph. If you string these together, you should ave a basic outline. 50 points.
6. A concluding paragraph that restates the thesis/opinion in terms that show you have proven your point. If possible, in the conclusion you may indicate where the argument would go if the paper were longer or how you would improve the paper if you had a semester to expand it. 50 points
7. Catchy title: Should give general sense of the topic. Can be serious, humorous, literary, descriptive.20 points
8. Grammar/Spelling:50 points (minus two points per — clearly careless — grammatical or spelling error).Hint: Run a grammar check. Run a spell check. Proofreading is essential to good writing.

Quotes should not exceed two lines, so only use the part of a text that supports or complicates your argument. If you are tempted to use a quote for a listing of data, don’t! Reword the data and
be sure to cite the source of the data (so you don’t get in trouble for plagiarizing someone’s hard work assembling it)
. You must cite all quotes and paraphrasing. For citation format, follow the MLA or Chicago Manual of Style Guidelines at: http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html.: 20 points
