2. Aims: This study aims to examine the extent to which outsourcing in Qatar can provide logistics support to firm in fuel distribution and analyze the impact of the logistics outsourcing strategy. 3. Research Questions: Research Question 1: What value is created by implementing outsourcing strategy into firm’s processes? Research Question 2: What is the risk of outsourcing in downstream fuel supply chain? Research Question 3: How can a firm attain an effective strategy to implement outsourcing? 4. Research Objectives: The research objectives are to determine that if outsourcing is associated with challenges for companies and the effective strategy for implementation. Furthermore, the effective management process to manage and control resources such as 3PL providers. Finally, the response of stakeholders to outsourcing and how firms manage it. 5. Feasibility: The involvement in the downstream of oil and gas operations and supply chain through my career for ten years made it an interesting topic to consider for my research field and gave me the access for a variety of resources and key decision making personal within my organization.
