Imagine that you are a case manager for a disability services work placement organisation
who has just been assigned a new client, Steve. Steve is 19 years old and was involved in a
serious car accident 18 months ago in which he suffered from a traumatic brain injury.
Since that time Steve has been assessed by a number of doctors, psychologists, and
physiotherapists. You know that they have conducted a range tests in order to assess
Steve’s level of functioning and to monitor his rehabilitation. Steve’s mother has brought
Steve into your organisation because Steve says that he wants assistance finding suitable
employment that works with his current level of functioning.
What sort of information might you want to gather about Steve and how might you go
about sourcing this information? (Your response should be no more than 50 words)
