You will be focusing upon Behaviour Management Plans in this assessment task. There are two parts to the
task. I will put an estimate word limit next to each section for those who like to work towards that.
    Part 1:
You are to create a student/learner profile of three (3) students who need, or needed, a Behaviour
Management Plan. The profile will consist of subheadings and answers. You will find more details following.
    Part 2:
You will construct a Behaviour Management Plan (BMP) for the above three (3) students. You will clearly
identify the student’s behaviour needs and where you believe they may be stemming from (e.g. Difficulties
with learning, socialisation difficulties, an unstable home, lashing out for attention, emotional difficulties,
poor coping skills, psychological hardship, mental health issues, a possible behavioural condition, disability
or purely, poor behaviour choices). More details to follow.
    Sourcing your students:
You can use students who are in your own class currently, students who you have taught recently (e.g., you
may wish to use Will from 2019, Mandy from 2018 and Toni from this year). For those who haven’t been in a
classroom (and for those of you wish to try something ‘new’) you will be selecting a movie and choosing
three students from that movie to focus upon. This ‘alternative option’ will provide you with the chance to
really detect and immerse yourself in the characters that you select, finding out their backgrounds and why
they keep “getting into trouble”. The best movies for this task, which focus on multiple students, are:
    ? The Breakfast Club
    ? Dead Poet’s Society
    ? Harry Potter (specific which)
    ? Stand and Deliver
    ? School of Rock
    ? Freedom Writers
? There are many other movies, if you wish to use another movie, check with me first
I would suggest if you are not familiar with any of these movies, that you select the Breakfast Club. If you
are unsure of any of these movies, then have a look through youtube clips. You’ll get a good overview of the
‘type’ of movie and the characters (who will become your students)

  • [ANSWERED] In what ways did company culture and compensation at Wells Fargo encourage incentive-based fraud…

    Wells Fargo case study format:
Answer all five questions below in Word doc. Total length usually equals approximately 2-3 pages.
    1. In what ways does this case study demonstrate conflict of interest?
    2. In what ways did company culture and compensation at Wells Fargo encourage incentive-based fraud (gaming)?
    3. Although Wells Fargo attempted to curb fraudulent activity with an ethics workshop and change in compensation structure, the company continued to find fraudulent accounts being opened by employees. Why do you think this continued to occur? What do you think Wells Fargo could have done to better curb fraudulent activity?
    4. Are the lower-level employees more to blame, or the managers? Were both in a conflict of interest situation?
    5. Many employees admitted that they knew what they were doing was wrong but continued to open fraudulent accounts. Do you think their actions were in any way ethically justifiable? Why or why not? If you were in their position, what would you have done? Losing your job is tough. Losing sleep at night because you knowingly ripped off a customer might be tougher. How would you resolve such a conflict of interest?

  • [ANSWERED] Polices about Aboriginal Australians are concerned with making sure Aboriginal people achieve the…

Polices about Aboriginal Australians are concerned with making sure Aboriginal people achieve the
same standards of health, education and wellbeing as other Australians. Adopting a sociological
approach to Indigenous issues requires that we look at little deeper as to why these gaps close so
    slowly, if at all.
Select one Aboriginal policy to analyse (examples include Closing the Gap, The Northern Territory
Intervention and Stronger Futures) in response to the following question: Do attempts to address
indigenous disadvantage at a policy level effectively address or compound the challenges facing
    Aboriginal Australians?
    Option #2:
According to Pillar (2016, p.161), ‘language is central to the ability to fully participate in the life of the
community. However, the ability to deploy language for effective participation is unequally distributed.’
Select an example of each (i) one way that lived experience can be enhanced and (ii) one way that
lived experience can be limited by an individual’s language skills. Then, respond to the following
question: To what extent does being bi/multilingual enhance participation in local and (or) global
    contexts.
    Option #3:
Australia, and Western Sydney in particular, is considered by many to be ‘super-diverse’. While there
are a number of policy and government approaches to develop social harmony, cohesion and a sense
of belonging, there are also occasions where disharmony and conflict occurs.
Select an example of each (i) a ‘prescriptive’ (policy) approach to, and (ii) a ‘descriptive’
(everyday/lived) experience of, diversity. Then, respond to the following question: Do policy
approaches to diversity build a sense of belonging and harmony in a community more or less
    effectively than everyday, lived experiences

  • [ANSWERED] You work at CareShore as a Case Manager. You are responsible for undertaking initial assessments…

You work at CareShore as a Case Manager. You are responsible for undertaking initial assessments and providing counselling services to a range of clients, particularly young people and children.
Today you are meeting with Valerie, a fourteen-year-old girl. Valerie was referred to CareShore for assessment and counselling by her school. The school had concerns regarding Valerie’s behaviour in school.
The following is the report from the school.
    Background information
Valerie is fourteen-year-old teenage girl who identifies as being Aboriginal. She is in grade 8 at Street Hills Secondary School. Valerie lives at home with her mother and two older sisters. Valerie has diabetes. As part of her care plan, she is required to visit the school nurse at regular intervals to check her blood sugar levels and receive insulin if required.
    Reason for referral
In the past, Valerie has always been good at remembering when she needs to go to the nurse to have her blood sugar levels checked. In the last month, she has increasingly forgotten to go and needs constant reminding.
The school nurse has run out of insulin supplies for Valerie. The nurse has contacted the family regularly for the last week, but they have not provided the insulin. The phone numbers are now disconnected.
Valerie has informed her teacher that she doesn’t need to go to the nurse anymore. The school has requested a medical review for Valerie as she is starting to exhibit signs that her diabetes may not be under control.
In addition, the school is concerned about the family. Previous attempts to work with the family to manage Valerie’s condition effectively have not been successful. This is not the first time the school has run out of medical supplies for Valerie and had trouble obtaining supplies from the family. The school had offered counselling to the family, but they refused.

You work at CareShore as a Case Manager. You are responsible for undertaking initial assessments and providing counselling services to a range of clients, particularly young people and children.
Today you are meeting with Caiden, a 16-year-old male. Caiden lives with his younger brother, mother and father. His parents have brought him to CareShore as they are concerned for his well-being. Caiden disclosed his homosexuality to his family and friends approximately 12 months ago. His family were supportive of his choice.
In the last two months, they have noticed that Caiden has become increasingly withdrawn. He wears bulking clothing at home and his mother has noticed some bruises on his body from time to time. When questioned, Caiden said the bruises were from playing soccer with his friends at school.
Over the last month, Caiden has been increasingly reluctant to go to school. His parents discussed their concerns with some of Caiden’s teachers. They too noticed a change in his behaviour. They stated that Caiden seems to sit alone at school and does not interact as much with his normal group of friends.
Last week, Caiden told his mother that he’d ‘rather be dead’.

In the observation from the transcript one the child Penda used many forms of oral language. There are five stages of oral language the first stage is called phonological component. In the first observation referring to (Appendix 1 line, 17) Penda pointed out to the picture in the book and said “Look there is water” pointing to the picture in the book with evident Penda is using the phonological component of oral language explaining visualising in the book and making meaning of text (Fellowes & Oakley, 2019 p.52). The second stage of oral language components for children between 3-5 years of age is Syntactic in the second transcript outlined the child was observed communicating with another child trying to put words together in a sentence (Appendix 2 line, 1). When children begin to understand meaning of words through oral language, they are able to use these correct terms into a sentence (Bruce & Spratt, 2011). The child in the second transcript stated the “The triangle is the red one and this one fits in the box ” (Appendix 2, line 3) this is evident that the child in the observation is using semantic components of oral language, trying to put words together to voice his views (Fellowes & Oakley, 2019). Therefore, semantic and Pragmatic component of oral language is a linguistic combination for transcript two children are using oral language informally in a social setting the pragmatic component of oral language occurs in a social
