Loftus Reading Response Worksheeton “The Memory Wars” by Elizabeth Loftus, use require materials from Database-EBSCO-host only.
“The Memory Wars” by Elizabeth Loftus. Complete the reading response worksheet below as require materials for Database-EBSCO-host only Course Material. The final section on the worksheet is the response section that challenges your ability to merge your response with source material and to create correct in-text citations. Include the following quote (or one of your own choosing) and cite it correctly: “Sometimes the truths science uncovers are not easy, simple, or reassuring.”
    Reading Response Worksheet
Part A. In this section, completely in your own words, create a one paragraph summary of the assigned article. The summary should be accurate about the content, non-evaluative (no personal opinion), coherent and readable, and concise.(1 paragraph summary)
Part B. In this section, you will evaluate
    how
the article was written. In this kind of evaluation, you’re not really considering content, opinions, or facts, but items such as organization, word choice, tone, and audience. Be sure to state what you think is the thesis or the main idea of the essay and other important organizational aspects of the article. State what you think the tone of the article is (this would be how you understand the attitude of the writer to the topic) and who you think the intended audience is. Also record significant instances of style or word choices (ex: why would an author use “apparatus” instead of “equipment”). (150-200 words) will vary.
Part C. In this section, write your reaction to the article you read. In this part of the assignment your voice should dominate. It should be obvious that you have read the article, but I should know your opinion on the article not a summary of the content. This section demonstrates your ability to synthesize the reading material in order to make it your own.(150-300 words)
Part D.Additionally, you will need to incorporate a quote from the source using correct APA format for in text citations. Use the assigned quote from the directions or choose another one that better fits your response here. (small quote from the source of Loftus reading)

  • [ANSWERED] ITECH1400 – Question 1 – Container Recycling Machine…

    ITECH1400 – Assignment 1 – Container Recycling Machine
Due Date: 5pm, Friday of Week 7
This assignment will test your skills in designing and programming applications to specification and is worth 20% of your non-invigilated (type A) marks for this course. This is an
    INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT
    – and while you may discuss it with your fellow students, you must not share designs or code or you will be in breach of the university plagiarism rules. This assignment should take you approximately 20 hours to complete.
    Assignment Overview
You are tasked with creating a text-based program for simulating a
    Container R
    ecycling Machine
using the Python 3 programming language.
The assignment is broken up into four main components:
    Design and model two classes:
    Container
    and
    Container_Recycling_Machine
    ,
    Create an
    activity chart
which describes the behaviour of the Recycling Machine system,
    Create a
    computer program
that allows a user to enter containers that are able to be recycled into a machine. During the process the machine prompts the user for the type of container to be recycled and how many they have to enter. The machine keeps track of the number of each of the different containersand keeps track of the total amount to pay the user until they indicate that they are finished. When they stop adding containers, print out a receipt and given them the amount of money owing. The receipt should contain the following:
A listshowing how many of eachcontainerhas deposited and the cost of each container.
The total amount provided for each container
    The total money received.
Finally, explain and integrate some code into your Recycling Machine program that keeps track of how many containers of each type are in the machine, and, if the machine is full, makes deposits of that container type unavailable. You machine should have at least 4 different products, andallow up to 50 of each product.
Your submission should consist of one document containing the first two parts of the assignment, and three Python scripts that implement the computer program (
    Container_Recycling_Machine.py, Container.py
    and
    main.py
    ).
    The
    main.py
script runs the main logic of the program and will use instances of the
    Container_Recycling_Machine
    and
    Container
classes to simulate depositing into a Recycling Machine.
You are provided with a Microsoft Word template to help you complete the first two parts of this assignment.
Towards the end of this document you will also be provided with the output of a simulated run of the completed computer program which may help you with this assignment.

Section 1: BSBWHS415-S01-Part C Notes: Participants are permitted to submit ONE FILE for each Skill Assessment. Where multiple documents are to be created for submissions, participants should create PDF documents to merge into ONE document, or create and upload a ZIP file containing the multiple documents for assessment. Step 1 — You are required to undertake an evaluation review on two different areas in your organisations WHSMS that are relevant to your own work area and job role. ( For example if you are a HSR you could evaluate and review the “Consultation procedure”, or the “Workplace Inspection” procedures). The purpose of the review is to identify how the WHSMS could be improved. You are required to collate a range of information and write a safety improvement report for the Health and Safety Manager. Your report MUST contain: An introduction that explains why you think this review is important in the context of the WHSMS, and safety in general, in your workplace. Your review planning process – what resources (internally and externally) were used to undertake the review, ie policy, procedure, WHS legislation, codes of practice, manufacturer manuals, time allocation, audit tools , finance, permissions, checklists, stakeholders. A copy of the completed evaluation tool that was used, e.g. audit/review documentation, policy or procedure that was written over and corrected. Discuss the results of your review, identifying areas that require improvement ensuring that you reference relevant and appropriate sources of information where possible. Suggest and develop recommendations for the areas that you require improvement, including any references to any internal and external information you accessed. Develop an action plan for the areas for improvement you have identified. Explain how any changes will be monitored and evaluated including consultation and what feedback will be given. Explain how you would communicate the areas of improvement to the rest of the workplace and facilitate their contribution. To assist you in the development of your safety improvement report, examples of an audit tool and action plan are available to download in the student portal.
