Training and Assessment Program for Cluster 6 Leadership This cluster looks at the leadership and development of yourself and others as well as facilitating legislation, regulatory and National Quality Framework compliance with an education and care setting Students will need to show an understanding and demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to provide leadership and compliance in an education and care service. Students will be required to determine individual and team development needs and to facilitate the development of the work group. This includes- • Interpret the National Quality Framework • Legislation, standards and regulations relevant to the children’s service industry • Facilitate an organisation self-assessment • Facilitate the development of a quality improvement plan • Continuous improvement • Co-ordinate the service for a site visit as part of compliance • Consultation amongst staff • Choose methods of communication to suit the audience. • Stakeholder consultation • Best practice principles and emerging trends in service delivery. • Evaluate and enhance your own practice • Reflection and ongoing professional development • Undertaking research • Sourcing relevant and reliable information • Analysis of information • Facilitation techniques to encourage team development and improvement • Learning needs of the staff/ team • Learning delivery methods for adults • Coaching and mentoring adults • Monitor and evaluate workplace learning for adults • Reflect and improve own practice • Creating development plans

    1. Write programs with iterators that computes:
    • The sum of all even numbers between 2 and 100 (inclusive).
    • The sum of all squares between 1 and 100 (inclusive).
    • The product of all powers of 2 from 20 up to 220
    .
    • The product of all odd numbers between a and b (inclusive), where a and
    b are inputs. (example, if a = 3, b = 7 then the product of odd numbers
    between 3 and 7 is 3 * 5 * 7)
    2. Write a program that allows you to play rock, paper, scissors against the computer.
Import the random module to select the computer’s choice.
    3. A simple random generator is obtained by the formula rnew = (a×rold+b)%m and
then setting rold to rnew. Write a program that asks the user to enter an initial
value for rold. (Such a value is often called a seed). Then print the first 100 random
    integers generated by this formula, using a = 32310901, b = 1729, and m = 224
    .
    4. In a predator-prey simulation, you compute the populations of predators and prey,
    using the following equations:
    preyn+1 = preyn × (1 + A – B × predn) (1)
    predn+1 = predn × (1 – C + D × preyn) (2)
Here, A is the rate at which prey birth exceeds natural death, B is the rate of
predation, C is the rate at which predator deaths exceed births without food,
and D represents predator increase in the presence of food. Write a program

  • Identification of the healthcare policy – Identification of the student identified solution…

    1.
    Paper Content:
    · Overview of the healthcare policy concern and solution: This section provides a concise but comprehensive overview of the healthcare policy as well as the solution. Required content includes:
    · Identification of the healthcare policy (Presentation of healthcare policy concern)
    · Identification of the student identified solution (Presentation of student identified solution to the healthcare policy concern)
    · Relevance to the community or population group
    · Summary
    · Information is relevant to healthcare concern and its solution
    · Identification of communication techniques: This section requires the delineation of communication techniques useful to the upcoming presentation to the selected elected official. Required content includes:
    · Identification of the selected elected official and position
    · Rationale for the selection
    · Identification of 4 (four) beneficial communication/presentation techniques
    · Providing scholarly resources that support the use of the identified communication techniques
    · Self-evaluation of presentation: This section provides an opportunity for self-evaluation. The student must self-evaluate oneself in each major content area by identifying one positive and one area to improve (i.e.
content, method of delivery, and style of delivery
    ):
    i. Presentation of healthcare policy concern
ii. Presentation of student identified solution to the healthcare policy concern
    iii. Summary
iv. Information is relevant to healthcare concern and its solution
Conclusion: This section requires a summary of the key points from assignment
    Preparing the Assignment
    1. The paper (excluding the title page and reference page) should be at least 2, but no more than 4 pages. Points will be lost for not meeting these length requirements.
    2. Title page, running head, body of paper, and reference page must follow APA guidelines as found in the 6
    th
edition of the manual. This includes the use of headings for each section of the paper except for the introduction where no heading is used.
    3. A minimum of
    4
(four) appropriate research-based scholarly references must be used.
    4. Required textbook for this course, dictionary and Chamberlain College of Nursing lesson information may
    NOT
be used as scholarly references for this assignment. For additional assistance regarding scholarly nursing references, please see “What is a scholarly source” located in the Course Resources tab. Be aware that information from .com websites may be incorrect and should be avoided. References are current – within a 5-year time frame unless a valid rationale is provided, and the instructor has approved them prior to submission of the assignment.
    5. Ideas and information from scholarly, peer reviewed, nursing sources must be cited and referenced correctly.
    6. Rules of grammar, spelling, word usage, and punctuation are followed and consistent with formal, scientific writing.

Post your word count at the end of your post.
Use quotations from the literature to support your points.
    Megan QuigleyWeek 3 – Paragraphs / “Mother Tongue”COLLAPSE
Paragraphs are an important part of what you’re writing. They’re a bunch of sentences in relation to each other based off a topic. You want to make sure that your sentences support each other, and that you don’t you go off on a tangent. Starting with a good topic sentence will help ensure that this never happens Using parallel structures and transitions properly, can also help you develop strong paragraphs. When developing paragraphs, I will remember to also consider these tips: be as descriptive as you possibly can, give examples of things you’re talking about, when comparing subjects or things, point out the similarities and differences, and make sure you define things that need to be explained what they are, or are not.
“My mother has long realized the limitations of her English as well. When I was fifteen, she used to have me call people on the phone to pretend I was she. In this guise, I was forced to ask for information or even to complain and yell at people who had been rude to her. One time it was a call to her stockbroker in New York. She had cashed out her small portfolio and it just so happened we were going to go to New York the next week, our very first trip outside California. I had to get on the phone and say in an adolescent voice that was not very convincing, “This is Mrs. Tan.” Amy Tan “Mother Tongue” I chose to cite this paragraph, because it stood out to me as a narrating strategy where Tan tells of a time that she pretended to be her mom. Tan also tells us how she was forced to ask for information and continues to tell us how she had to call her mom’s stockbroker in New York. Because Tan is telling us stories about things she did as a child for her mom, this is why I believe she is using the narrating strategy.

In your implementation of the ALU there is no need to detect or handle overflow. However, it’s a good mental exercise to think about when/how an overflow might occur. When adding numbers with different signs, overflow cannot occur because the sum must be no larger than one of the numbers.
What happens when the signs of the numbers are the same? What happens in the case of subtraction?
How do we detect when an overflow does occur?
