Exploring organisation theories and Organisational FIt
ssay instructionsEssay instructionsExploring Organisation Theories and Organisational FitThe field of organisation theory has many competing theories to explain organisational effectiveness.Your task is to critically discuss how managers may use one of the following theories: Resource Dependency Theory, Institutional Theory, or Population Ecology, to develop a framework of understanding for an organisation. Your framework should explain interactions with other organisations. A discussion of how this framework will contribute to the control of the competitive landscape should be included. Your reasoning should be explained and referenced with evidence from peer reviewed journals.
Detailed instructions:Write an essay-style response to this question, referring to the current academic literature on this topic. As a general rule, a minimum of eight (8) academic references from peer-reviewed journals, in addition to references from the subject core text is required. Introduction
Open the essay with a short introduction to the area. Provide a response to the essay question.Provide a summary or ‘road map’ of your essay (a very brief outline of what you will discuss)Main body
The main body of your essay will consist of paragraphs, which are akin to building blocks in the construction of your argument. Ensure that you:
develop a discussion, informed by the key academics in the field, which answers the essay questiondemonstrate your knowledge of the fieldoffer exposition and evidence to develop your arguments. Evidence will be the references to seminal works and key empirical studiesuse relevant examples and authoritative quotes – however only use quotes for effect. Excessive quoting does not demonstrate your understanding of the field.if your question has multiple parts, consider using subheadings to break up the text into a logical structure. When structuring your paragraphs, remember that a paragraph is a related group of sentences that develops one main idea. Each paragraph should contain:
a topic sentence that states the main idea to be discussedsupporting sentences, which explain and develop the point that you’re makingevidence – your points should be supported by evidence from your readingsanalysis – analyse and interpret the evidence. Consider the implications, significance and impact of what you have been discussing, and conclude the paragraph with a critical conclusion you have drawn from the evidence. Conclusion
In the conclusion, you need to:
restate your response to the essay questionsummarise the main pointsfinish with a broad statement about the implications of the topic for practice.ensure you don’t introduce any new information into the conclusion.Make sure you cite and correctly reference your sources, using the Academy of Management referencing style.

There is no doubt that the impact technology has had on the sporting landscape has seen us transform the way we play, manage and view all forms of sport. We are able to perform and achieve things that athletes could only dream of in generations past. But does this mean that all technology and innovation is good? Choose a technological innovation that has been introduced to a sport that has had anobviousnegativeimpact. What is it? How / why was the impact seen as negative? Is the technology still being used? What impact did it have on the organisations / governing bodies running the sport? Remember to attribute the source(s) of the information highlighting / showcasing the innovation they have chosen. I need 650 wordsThe innovation may not be 100% negative so don’t waste on time finding only negative innovation. There maybe some positive impact as well. We can consider it.
