    Summary
Influenced by the technological revolution and post war ideas, art had undergone a major shift in mid-20th century especially in establishing a new definition of its fundamentals.
    Question:
Was the technological evolution more disastrous on art than advancing in terms of its authenticity? Isn’t it a fair argument that Da Vinci’s paintings for instance were way more creative and sophisticated than nowadays’? And that is perhaps due to the huge impact of predefined concepts that artists are even consciously or unconsciously perceiving from the media.
    THE ELECTRONIC CONSCIOUSNESS
The technological evolution in the mid sixties have played a significant role in employing the media to the benefit or arts despite the side effects that it left behind on it.
    A Turning point in theory
In the late 1960s, a new understanding of image art started to emerge defining the perception of an art image away from the time and place and opening a new door of imagination from different perspectives.
BRITISH POP: FROM THE INDEPENDENT GROUP TO DAVID HOCKNEY
The postwar generation in England was struggling to change the mainline old-fashion art concepts that limited artworks access to elites and higher social classes.
Key Figures of the Independent Group
At the very beginnings of his art foundation name Independent Group, Peter Banham laid the foundation for a perception of art as a modern image of reality and defined how modern artworks should in a way or another be influenced and impacted by their surroundings.
